I was born and raised in Germany, spending most of my life in a small rural village near Würzburg. Growing up between German and American roots, both language and culture have always been a natural part of who I am. After moving to the United States in 2013, I continued working with both languages—through communication, translation, and real-world interpretation—developing a deep understanding not just of the words, but of the meaning behind them. Today, I run my own freelance business, helping individuals and families around the world navigate language with clarity and confidence—whether it’s a conversation, a document, or a piece of family history.

👉 My goal is simple: to make sure nothing gets lost in translation.

Additional Background

I have been working in the language field since 2000, including serving as a contractor supporting U.S. military personnel and their families in Germany. In this role, I assisted with housing, appointments, and official communication, while also supporting day-to-day integration and language needs. I have experience teaching German to American children on-post, as well as teaching English to German students in both group and one-on-one settings. My background includes extensive real-world interpreting across a variety of settings, including Social Security offices, emergency rooms, and financial institutions. In addition, I continue to work with clients translating documents for both U.S. and German use.
